BenQ is now on the verge of releasing a couple new Full HD monitors that make use of LED backlighting, the 21.5-inch G2222HDL and 24-inch G2420HDBL.

Both monitors feature a glossy black frame and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a TN panel, a 5ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio (5,000,000:1 DCR), a brightness of 250 cd/m2, and both D-Sub and DVI connectors.

The G2222HDL and G2420HDBL are expected to hit shops within the week and cost £149 and £169, respectively.
