Toshiba presents a new model of the Portege series: the ultraportable Portege M780. The Tablet PC screen swivel 12.1 "(30.7 cm) is designed for mobile workers in the service sector, sales and creative professionals in SMB and large companies.
The Toshiba Portege M780 Tablet PC features a 12.1-inch touch screen can be rotated which exploits the features of Windows 7 Touch Gestures and thanks to Windows users can free up their creativity. Open like a clamshell, it works like a notebook with a keyboard, while as a tablet PC can record hand-made sketches, diagrams and notes. Maximum portability and versatility make the Portege M780 a key tool in schools and training. Furthermore, it is also ideal as a sales tool, allowing you to create presentations quickly and easily. Thanks to its light weight, from 2 kg, is the perfect mobile companion for those who are often out of office. Equipped with spill-resistant keyboard and a rugged case, tested to withstand drops from a height of one meter, the Portege M780 is the ideal solution for business users.
Toshiba has always been involved in making products of high quality and maximum reliability. To avoid loss of data stored on your laptop in case of accidental knocks or falls, the Portege M780 features Toshiba’s 3D accelerometer to protect the hard disk. Furthermore, it was subjected to Highly Accelerated Life Tests (HALT), made independently by the German TUV. Portege M780 will be available in the second quarter of the year in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
