Toshiba America has now expanded its business PC offering with three new mobile solutions based on Intel's Huron River platform, the 13.3-inch Portégé R830, the 14-inch Tecra R840 and the 15.6-inch Tecra R850.

Backed by a three-year warranty, Toshiba's notebooks feature a 2nd generation Core processor, a 7200 RPM hard drive or up to a 128GB solid state drive, integrated (Intel HD) or discrete (AMD Radeon) graphics, an ExpressCard slot, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0 and even Wireless Display capabilities. Other goodies include multiple level passwords, a fingerprint reader and an optional SmartCard reader.
The two Tecra models make use of a fiberglass-reinforced casing with a honeycomb rib structure, while their Portégé sibling has a magnesium alloy chassis. The Tecras also boast a raised tile spill resistant keyboard.
