Samsung have presented new HD large format displays (LFD) 460UT and 460UTn in Russia.

The Samsung 460UT series 46" LCD displays feature bezels of just 2.4 mm on the bottom and right, and 4.3 mm on the top and left, for a total bezel width of 6.7 mm. Video walls are virtually seamless. Display have a resolution of 1366*768 pixels, àa contrast of 3000:1, and a response time of 8 ms.

Models equipped with Samsung ID 2 function, which provides for a smooth transition of images from one screen to another. This video is the most realistic. In addition, the UT series of panels can be mounted on a special stand, which allows organizing video in different ways, i.e. group of panels can be mounted at an angle to each other, semi, etc. Such arrangement is very important for the display of the LFD-figure compositions, such as exhibitions. Samsung ID 1 function provides for a quick setup video consisting of multiple monitors. Samsung ID 2 is based on ID 1, but has more functionality. For example, it allows you to tilt the panel to an angle of 40 degrees.

Installations based UT series of Samsung panels are easily installed on the wall, repeating its shape (for example, if the wall rounded). This allows you to get away from the traditional location of the flat installation of video walls and create an unusual shape.

LFD-panel also supports Samsung UD, which allows you to monitor the work of up to 250 monitors in real time. The information displayed on panels, may be updated from a central server. Displays that are connected to computers (up to 125 units) and other sources (video cameras, camcorders) can be combined into a single network and carry out the simultaneous translation. This helps to achieve effective solutions at trade shows or conferences.

The new LFD-pane will appear in the Russian market for corporate customers in July 2009.
