Dell have officially launched their latest 15-inch notebook, the Dell Studio 15. Outfitted with a 15.6-inch 720p-capable 1366 x 768 LED backlit display, the Studio 15 has its choice of Core 2 Duo processors, together with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570 graphics and optional Blu-ray.
Other specs include a 2-megapixel webcam, WiFi b/g (with a/g/n an option), optional Bluetooth and 3G HSPA. Connectivity includes two USB 2.0 ports and a combo USB/eSATA, together with HDMI, VGA, gigabit Ethernet, audio in/out, Firewire and a 34mm ExpressCard slot.
The Dell Studio 15 kicks off at $649 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 2.53GHz processor (T9550, T9600 and T9800 CPUs are available) and 3GB of DDR2 RAM (up to 8GB is available). Up to 320GB of 7,200rpm storage is available, or up to 500GB if you’re willing to settle for a 5,400rpm drive; the standard optical drive is an 8x DVD burner.
