Lenovo 3000 G550 Notebook is a spin-off of the now defunct Lenovo 3000 models and joins the uber-plain G500. The G550 is a bit more modern with a 15.6-inch LCD, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, WiFi/Bluetooth/Ethernet, up to 4GB RAM, and up to 320GB storage.

Some surprising standard features include an integrated number pad on the keyboard, DVD burner, and HDMI output. You will have a choice of Intel integrated or NVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics and no choice with your six cell battery. Pricing starts at $599.
